- Your account access will be disabled.
- You will no longer be able to access scan history, uploaded card images, analysis results, saved collection items, or account details.

- If you have an active subscription, cancel it through Apple Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
Data retention
Snap Card currently uses soft deletion for account deletion requests. This means:
- Your access is disabled immediately.
- Your account is flagged with
deleted_at/deletion_requested_at. - Original card images, analysis records, the payment ledger, and necessary logs may be retained in the background for a period of time.
- Retention reasons include security, fraud prevention, payment records, subscription reconciliation, troubleshooting, legal compliance, and backup system limitations.
- When no longer needed, this data is deleted or de-identified according to our internal data retention process.
Data that may be deleted or disabled
- Account profile and login access
- Scan history access
- Uploaded card image access
- Analysis result access
- Collection records access
- App session and local login state
Data that may be retained
- Payment and subscription ledger records
- Purchase or entitlement events
- Security logs
- Error logs and operational logs
- Records required for legal, tax, fraud prevention, chargeback, or compliance reasons
- Backup copies until backup rotation removes them
Processing time
Account access is disabled as soon as the deletion request is processed in the app. Manual requests sent by email are usually reviewed within 2-3 business days.
Subscription cancellation
Deleting your account does not cancel subscriptions managed by Apple.
You must cancel any active subscription yourself in iOS under Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions. Otherwise Apple may continue to manage the current subscription period.
